like an idiot i've broken my usb port in my compaq e500 notebook, where can i purchase a replacement? and how do i fit it

Hi. From pc world you can get a Belkin High Speed usb 2.0 Notebook Card, that slots into the opening that is about 2 inches wide on the left side, (if your model has the opening but is should do). It provides you with 2 high speed ports instead of the one normal speed one. It makes downloading music into mp3's faster too. Hope this can help.
