renault kangoo van , battery ok full charge, battery warning light still on?

My renault kangoo van, would not start after a short run, tightened the terminals and got home, but battery warning light still on, is it the alternator. Battery charged ok.

you could check the charging rate with a voltmeter,should be 14volts+ with engine running,anything less suspect alternator,also check the small wire from alternator for chaffing,bad connection
