i have a 2002 clio 1.2, was told by a renault garage that the ecu had gone, i got from a breaker another ecu set, the one on back of engine, under the dash, & the key reader + key, the red light stays on and car won't start, can anyone help, the replacement ecu set was seen working.........

An ecu has got to be programed to individual car, cant just take from another car plug it in and it works

I think this will need to go onto a relevant code reader to have a look at immobiliser issues
