To BG MIKE?

some did have an overheat but others did not, if it does not have one then the fact the thermostat is knackered would not make the pilot go out, are you sure the flue is clear?

BG MIKE

The flue is completely clear!

How can I tell if my particular boiler has an overheat sensor?

IT WILL EITHER PLUG INTO GAS VALVE BEFORE THERMOCOUPLE OR BE A THERMOSTAT THAT ATTACHES HALF WAY UP T/COUPLE, I SUSPECT THERE IS NOT ONE ON YOUR BOILER.
