Apart from the obvious ie motor burnt out. Try the following:
Take the top off and very carefully with the power on-see if it will start to rotate under power if you give the drum a bit of a turn. If it does the capacitor is kaput. It is a common fault and the unit is fixed to the outside of the main motor.
Spares are dead easy to get-just Google your machine with the word capacitor or try www.espares.co.uk.
Dont forget to take a camera phone photo of the wiring before you start
