Should I get an electrician to fix the problem?

Thank you for the answer Kenjo. However since I am unable to fix it myself I was wondering is it still okay to use the dryer since I can still control the on/off when I open or shut the door? Will the dryer be affected in any other way because of the stuck button? As I mentioned in my earlier query I don't use the dryer very often. Once I am sure that I can still use the dryer without the button affecting the working of the dryer as a whole or endangering the user I may leave it be....otherwise I will ask an electrician to handle the job. Thanks for your time Kenjo.

It will be ok to use as you are by opening the door. if its plug is easily accessible you can switch it off at the wall socket if you have any doubt but it is perfectly safe to use. Cheers
