westinghouse freestyle multifunction wall oven Model No.668

The buttons of the electronic clock ( which indicates time of day, sets time for baking & grilling and automatic function) DO NOT/WILL NOT connect with the mechanism behind the panel.

I have tried switching power off at meterbox and all else but to no avail. It appears to me that the electric workings behind the control panel have slipped.
