heater resister location?

i have a 2003 ford transit and my heater will only work on number 3 but only for a couple of seconds i have been told that i need to replace the heater resister but i can not find it and i dont have a manual.
any help would be much appreciated

I think it is under o/s of dashboard up from clutch pedal,apologies if I`m wrong
