my ms180 chainsaw will not reach full revs ?

Remove the exhaust and start it without it fitted and see if it's any different. If it is, then (if it has one fitted) clean/replace the spark arrestor within the exhaust, or if not replace the exhaust as a whole. If you don't want to do any of that, then light a fire and throw the exhaust into it for a few hours- this will harden the carbon build up and can be easily tapped out when cooled.

Neither will mine. I have: rebuilt the carb., put in a new fuel line and filter, a new spark plug and air filter, checked the pulse port, cleaned the silencer. I think that the next ploy will be to pitch it into a skip. Good luck with yours, I will keep an eye out to see if you succeed.
