My washing machine is showing Bereit in the display and the spin symbol below but no other info. This came up halfway through a wash/spin cycle. Turning it on and off doesn't change the display. There is nothing in the water oultet and the cover removes freely. I'm assuming that this is a power or electronic module fault within the machine. As it is 4-5 years old I'm after advice as to whether to get it repaired or buy a new one?

Bosch as you know is a German machine, Beriet in German means 'ready'. It seems your machine has reverted to German language setting. I havent come across this before but it is possible it has been accidently been switched into diagnostic mode.Bearing in mind it is saying 'ready' doesnt sound like a fault warning. The above may be some help but dont know how to reset it off hand . Cheers
