We have a 1960 's hoover polisher and need a buffer polishing pad ?

We have a wonderful 1960's Hoover polisher and need a woolly polishing pad( a mouse ate the other one!). They clip on via a stud. Has anyone any ideas? Thank you!

All references to Polishing Mops for a 1960s Hoover Polisher have the picture but small print saying obsolete.
