Drainage problem with LG Intellowasher?

Hi, my name is Liesal. Recently purchased a second hand LG Intellowasher WD-8050F washing machine. It doesn't want to go over from rinse cycle to spin cycle. But when we manually drain the machine and activate the spin cycle, it then spins. Where can we look to see if there is a blockage that's causing the problem. I think it's a blockage in the drainpipe. Please help?

The problem is that it doesn't want to drain on it's own. I have to manually drain it for the spin cycle to work. You know when the rinse cycle is finished it totally drains out so that the spin cycle can start. The machine doesn't want to do it on it's own. So I thought that it has to be some kind of blockage problem. What do you think?

how are you manually draining it?
are you connecting the machine to a spigot under a sink?.If so make sure the blanking cap has been removed before connecting a machine to it
