clio key will not start the car?

My son has a x reg clio has a problem with his remote key fob.
It will lock and unlock the car but it will not start the car.
Only turn over the immobiliser light flashes rapidly. Can this
be repaired. He has a standard key that you have to use manually
that works fine

my clio was the same .had to go to dealer to reprogram a new key....

it can probably be fixed but will need to go onto a relevant code reader to sort out your immobiliser/key problem
