I have a 2001 petrol xsara, where the heater blower does not work, ive checked the fuse box and have taken the blower out and have tested it to be working. However Im a bit stumped now, as I am not sure what to check next?? As i turn the dial on the dash and nothing happens. Any ideas??

usually on the xsara picasso its the ignition switch cable similar to this on e bay item no: 121036091531
common problem , local garage quoted £700 for new cable and motor, as it had burnt out. total nonsense, replaced cable and now working fine, been selling cars for 40 years and was"Nt going to fall for that one

Have you checked the heater resistor and the wiring to as they cause lots of problems.
