I have a Vaxhall Astra 2004 plate and the keys went through the washing machine, the car still starts and the central locking worked for a few days now it will not lock at all from the key. Can anyone help otherwise need to get a new key from Vaxhall and very expensive :-(

remove the battery and leave the key on a hot radiator for an hour or two, thats what i done and my key works ok.
