Blocked air filter? When did you last renew it? Check it, it could be filthy and blocked. If so replace with a new air filter.
Do the pollen filter too if that needs it. Won't affect the engine but they get neglected too.
Come to think of it when did the oil and oil filter last get changed? Do you have it serviced properly & regularly?
