freelander blowing side light fuse?

2004 freelander blowing fuse for side lights on passenger side and interior lights for heater controls,i have disconnected plugs from back light and front light and still blows the fuse as soon as I switch on the lights,Can anyone help

has it got a trailer socket fitted! there could be a fault with the wires/terminals shorting out.

There is a short circuit somewhere, probably from a damaged whire. It's also possible that the heater controll pannel is deffective.

You need to locate that damaged whire and replace it. In some cases, it may be simpler to simply disconnect, or cut out, the damaged whire from both ends and pass a new one, leaving the old whire in place.

Try disconnecting from the fuse box.
