Gear Box issues?

I have a Vauxhall Zafira 2005 1.6i Club. I can change gears with no problem. But when I am in 3 or 4th gear, I get a 'whurring sound' and when the clutch is pressed down the sound goes away. Any advise would be most welcome. Thanks
