It does seem strange again on here gts,

Unless the battery is dated then how would the average Joe check it?

Maybe death would like to answer that :)

e manno, March 2013
am confused e manno ,"the battery wont have anything to do with it,but you should check if it needs replaced or not "thats what he said did he not ?if he thinks the battery has nothing to do with it,why advise it to be checked ????very, very odd !

gts, March 2013
The +[BATTERY]- has everything to do with it :)

e manno, March 2013
the battery has a life span of 3 to 5 years,it depends on where the panel is fitted

gts, March 2013
antoninus, turn the mains power off replace the battery in the control panel check any fuse you find there, since you give no make or model of yor panel,i cant tell you how many fuses you may find, check them with a meter, not just look at them

gts, March 2013
"the battery wont have anything to do with it "really?what if it has s/c and blown the battery fuse or aux power fuse ???? methinks you need a few more lessons death ,or you may cause it !!!!!

gts, March 2013
The Battery won't have anything to do with it, but your best checking If the battery Need's replacing or not, Saves you banging your head off the wall's in the future when problem's start to occur, Don't replace with plug fuses either -,0 Witnessed People do That In the past !

Death, March 2013
check the battery inside the panel and check for blown fuses too ,not look at them, check with meter turn mains power off before open the panel

gts, March 2013
Again, We do not have a crystal ball that Tell's us what panel you have, Please Give us more detail, Sounds of it you've blown Aux/speaker fuse, Simple to replace, simple to find.
