Hi, I have a F&P smartdrive washing machine it keeps stopping after about 2 minutes (loss of power) during any function/cycle. Power returns about 4 minutes later the machine will run again then looses all power again after a couple of minutes, this issue keeps going only it runs for a shorter time and starts after a slightly longer time at each restart.
No lights flash as all power is lost each time. All lights and selection functions work fine when power returns.

Your drain pump is overheating which shuts down the power. When it cools down power comes back on until it overheats again. Put it on final spin so there is no water in it. Press start and pump will run. When power goes off check the pump. Turn power off at wall & tip machine back against wall. Get down under the front right corner & locate drain pump. Place your hand on it and if it is very hot then that is the problem and you need to fit a new one. Pump should only be slightly warm to touch.
