Zafira key not working - can anyone help?

2006 zafira, usually the key shuts down everything including radio but now when I take key out everything stays on and alert still bleeps as if the key is still in. Because of this I am unable to lock the doors! Can anyone help please?

there is a spring in ign.switch which sometimes break and when you take the key out the middle part of the barrell should pop out,if it doesn`t it can affect the central locking
