Fitting a Lambda Sensor in a MX5 ( 2002 year )?

I need to fit a Lambda Sensor on my Mazda MX5 and need to know where it is located on the car. Can you advise please

Superficial research will tell you that a Lambda Sensor on a car is used to measure the amount of Oxygen in the vehicle's exhaust gas.

It follows then that a Lambda Sensor is likely to be in the exhaust pipe.
