How can I fix a zipper that keeps slipping open?
Slipzip, November 2006
There a couple of ways to do this. First one: you need pliers. using pliers. Holding the slider (the bit you pull up & down the teeth of the zipper!) gently grip the left (or right - whichever first, but you will need to do both sides) of the slider (the pliers will be gripping the top and underneath of the slider, to one side) & then squeeze GENTLY - you should see the edges move closer together - then do other side. Just be careful not to squeeze too hard, or the slider may become stuck fast (can be released again but great care needed, as slider may break). Or, for an easy QUICK FIX, use a hair elastic - loop it through the hole on the tab of the slider & through itself, pull up zip, & then loop it around the button! :o)
