scantronic 9600 shows "close end station"?

I had to move a 9600 unit for electrical works. All fine until reset with engineer code which stuck on "Close End Station" which was already closed.
My manual's flow chart (ref 496333 Issue 1) enigmatically says "go to A" which I can't find anywhere!
Is there an Issue 2 manual update and a list of engineer codes?
I finally found I had to remove and reinstall the unit cover, after which it reset OK
Help to update manual would be welcome.

It did tell you what the initial problem was and there's no update needed, the one you got has all the info you need and more if you read it properly. :D

Well Mr Perfect, haven't you realised yet, you got something wrong, you did not put the lid back on correctly.

Enigmatically or not, the phrase "go to A" is not in the manual you quote.

Have another look at the Flow Chart on page 11, it makes perfect sense, 'go back to the beginning.

" a list of engineer codes?"

Are you serious? You have the default engineer code in your manual, leave it as it is or change it.

Don't understand this, the panel told you exactly what the problem was. No more, no less.
