the feed dog must be approx ,9 at front and ,8mm at back above needle plate at it highest point of movement,also must be not to smooth,if it is it needs replacement.also check pressure foot pressure ,normally adjusted at l/h side of machine.also check the shoe of pressure foot as some material need different pressure foot
