MY Miele washing machine has finally died. I have ordered a new one but cannot get a Miele tech to come out to take the tumble drier off so the defunct washing machine can be taken away. Help!

Actually it is not that simple at all ! The tumble dryer will be rigidly bolted to the washing machine on a Miele so they become one piece. Usually it is necessary to remove the kickplate from the tumble dryer which will reveal some hidden screws, undo these and the tumble dryer will slide out of the clamps that are fixed to the washing machine.
