i'm trying to remove the rotor bowl on motor but it doesnt come off. i did remove the plastic nut from under. is there something else holding it ? or do i need to use some extra force.

It has large magnets inside the rotor which will stick to the stator fields. If nut on rotor is off you should be able to pull rotor bowl off with your hands no problem.
