daf astronic code 3144 splitter valve(GV)?

my truck engages manual jumps gears as you select them .got splitter valve as a problem how can i rectify it.thank you

can either be ,modulator not fitted correctly
air supply incorrect
modulator shifting parts defective
internal gearbox fault
shifting valves faulty
apart from the air supply ,none of the other issues are cheap ,but that is what needs checked
