if the bike misfires when its trying to start then it means its not transferring properly which is due to low compression, have you checked the powervalves are working and the pulley moves when you rev it up?usually the reason they are sluggish to pull away is low compression or the powervalve being stuck in the fully open position, does it go ok when it is revved right up?i expect it does and then would say that it is definately low on compression for sure i bet the powervalves have attacked the front of the piston and scored it all up this is what normally happens im afraid like i said when you first said you got it jp,you will be able to take the exhaust off and look up the exhaust port with a torch and see the marks on the piston if it has been touching the powervalves ok.cya m8
