It would be nice if you would just give me the name of a repair center. I have been on this computer for 15 minutes and seem to be getting the run around. Please give me the name of a repair center. I have tried all the answers that you have given to me. I have two rowenta irons and may buy a different brand if I have to get a new one. Thanks.

Janice - buy a new iron - they don't make irons to be repairable these days - it's a safety thing - they don't want any Tom, Dick or Harriet poking around making repairs and killing themselves. Just to get inside you have to destroy the iron.

Your threat to change Iron supplier has gone largely unnoticed.

Continual searching until you find an answer that suits you is a bit juvenile - but keep trying - you never know what might turn up.
