How to fix a Bosch Classixx 6 washing machine?

Hi, I have a Bosch Washing Machine - Classixx 6, 1400 Express ( code wae28363gb/02).
It has developed a fault on it where it gets to 0.01 minutes in the cycle but then doesn't stop. If you switch it off then put it on spin it will then end the cycle. The clothes do not smell fresh though.
At first I thought it was the heating element so replaced this but have just run a cycle and its sticking at 0.01 mins again.
Any ideas? Water pump???

you may have a pcb issue but hard to sort here, i have come accross one or two with dry joints on relays on the printed circuit board which a light soldering cured , maybe yours has a similar problem

Hi, thanks for the response. The pipe seems to be running freely. We did have a backed up sewer a few weeks ago which may have present an opportunity for dirty water to back up into the washer. Not sure what effect/damage this may have done?

Interestingly, if I run the machine on a cold cycle, it finishes normally. If I run it on any type of hot cycle, it sticks at 1 minute at the end of the program.

So this leads me to think its something to do with heating the water. But as I said, I've replaced the heating element. Which leaves what? The thermostat, or something on the control board? Any idea as to how to further diagnose the problem, or fix it?

Thanks again.

check the end of the waste hose where it enters the standpipe and pushed down is higher than half way up the centre of the drum, the fact that it has an odour and also if you stop it leans towards syphoning, report back.
