read instructions I switched of the power pressed reset twice within 5 secs no result found battery to be low obtained new battery(not fitted yet) but reading for further info some one reported that he was advised to remove all power including battery in order to re establish factory settings
surely this is wrong how can you reset without any power at all
i disagree e manno,it must be at least 20 pound hammer,do the job right,!!!:-)or my fav,a 12 bore loaded wth 0 buckshot !!!

Follow e mannos method for defaulting tat (it's on the net)and the only tool required is a 7lb lump hammer,but since you've already bought a new battery then you've nothing to loose by fitting it.
Get the manual and don't waste your time reading related posts on other sites,you will need one for a reprog anyway.
You've probably gathered by reading posts on here that we don't give out defaulting info!.
