I plumbed my dish washer in. It started for a minute and just stopped . Iv had it in a previous house but it has been. Lying up for years and it was in perfect working order in my old house.

Dishwashers usually pump out for the first minute then fill with water it seems yours does not fill. Check you have water coming to the machine, sometimes when you turn the blue plastic handle of the water tap the tap valve is seized and just the plastic bit turns but does not turn on the tap. Cheers
