Stuck thermostatic valve?

Hi,

I have a Triton bar shower from which I need to remove the thermostatic valve so that I can service or replace it. However, I can't get the thing out and, yes, I have removed the grub screw. I've also tried soaking in limescale removing solution but that hasn't freed it up. Grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Hi Steve, I don't know what model ?? most have a quad head to use with a spanner, however I think the Elina has no such help so try this :-
Get a full kettle of boiling water and slowly dribble over the end with the trapped thermo, this old trick quite often works for us, good luck hope that helps
