V reg automatic gearbox problems?

I have v reg micra automatic cvt and when going over 25 mph it makes loud rev noise as if it is telling me to move to next gear.

It only as 50,000 genuine miles on it.

What can I do. Is it repairable. Can anyone help and do it and what is the cost.

if you floor the throttle it will go almost to red line and when you lift off should settle down. Apart from the powder clutch the box is reliable. Is it possible you have low engine power and therefore greater throttle opening hence low ratio.
