I have replaced the battery following a low battery warning on the keypad,all was going good after powering up but now it is showing checksum error/checksum error then failed and has now advanced to fault with the keypad in what seems to me to be in a lockout stage.
I spoke to ade yesterday who were not very helpful and also following a net search i turned up nothing regarding checksum although I do believe it has something to do with it's memory.
Has anyone else encountered this error and if so how can it be overcomed.

best thing you can do is take e manno advice,replace it with a decent panel,fit a scantronic 9448+or a 9651 both very good units

Suppose you could try restoring factory settings but failing that it's out for the dust men I'm afraid,

What exactly does the log say?

Post back we maybe able to help :)

Ps if you refresh the nvm (restore factory settings) you will need to reprog,it could just be a glitch or a corruption of the nvm it's hard to say.
