how would i fit new lights on my car on a separate switch?

I want to fit some new lights on my car on a seperate switch, i have a Nissan micra 1.3slx 16 valve

wire from Positive battery terminal to a fuse and then on to a switch then from switch to the lights.pick up an earth point local to the new lights.Very simple and basic wiring
