clio airbag plug under seat?

can i remove plug and connect wires direct leaving plug out? will this cure prob with light on dash

seat belt pretensioner connectors are bad for connections under seat on a lot of models and doing away with the connector block is quite common,would advise to disconnect battery and leave for 20 mins before making the repairs
