I have a problem on my '05 2.2 DCI. I can't get the car to start as it doesn't recognize when the key card is in the ignition slot. I can lock and unlock the car with the card, all the lights work, but nothing lights up on the dash when the key card is in the ignition slot.
I was told by the RAC man that there is power to and from the card reader and that he thinks its the body on control module!
Could this be the fault? Is it easy to find and diagnose if it is the body control module?
