need move a room sensor on accenta 6 system?

I need to move a room sensor on an accenta intruder alarm system for decorating purposes, upon following the 'Engineer mode' instructions to disable the system to enable moving of the sensor ie: press PROG button then 9999 the system is supposed to then show the green 'day' light and the 'attack' light, the day light is lit but the 'attack' light is not lit and the system is not disabled. Can you please send instructions on what to do to disable the system to move a sensor
Thanks - Alan

Why should 9999 get you into engineering on your panel?,

It's the default code and will of been changed on installation or by an engineer who last had contact with it.

You should follow Alarms advice but you really need the engineering code, if you want full control over your system.Having this will enable you to make changes to the programming and periodically test the system to ensure everything is working correctly.

That's assuming you are not currently in a maint/service contract.

Open sensor, put in code.
Move sensor, do NOT short the cables.
Put in code.

Job done.
