Hi, Does the car key remote control of Zafira 2004 still works if LED (a small light on the circuit board) is missing. Mine is not working. Is it because of the missing LED?

the light emitting diode is an electronic switch,it allows currant to flow one way only,in some applications its in line with the circuitry so if its o/c your key fob wont work

Some keys have a little light (LED light) built in so you can see the keyhole in the dark. If the Led is missing then there's just no light.

Both the light and the radio control will need a working battery to operate properly.
