My alarm was set off in the middle of the night. When we identified the room that had triggered it, we could see that when we waved a hand and the sensor lit up, that there was an insect inside walking around. How do we take the sensor apart to remove it?

Do you know how many different sensors there are?

Get a pair of steps, get up to it, you'll then see how it comes apart.

BlueTac to seal the hole, and any others, where the insect got in. Should have been done when the detector was fitted. Don't forget to go around and do all the others as well or it'll happen again.

The AntiTamper should sound when you take the cover off, just go to your control panel and turn it on/off that will cancel the noise.
