AEG pro intense favourit dishwasher?

I have a time delay on my dishwasher. It is really annoying as sometimes the machine goes into time delay and then I cannot switch it on immediately. How can I over ride this time delay. thanks sally

Cancelling the delay start
while the countdown operates

1. Open the appliance door.
2. Press the delay button, the delay indicator goes off.
3. Close the appliance door. The programme starts.
