Beko DWD4311W not working how can I fix it?

It stopped working a few days ago but after realising the door catch was broken I ordered another one and replaced the part and it was working perfectly but when I loaded it tonight it is not working again, the door catch is fine as is the part that clips into it when the door closes, the power light is on as is the wash light but it is not drawing water in or working at all. I have turned it off and on and still no luck. Has anyone please got any ideas of what else I can try?

Hi
I have the Beko DWD4311W model , its stopped working recently, i have pulled out the dishwasher checked the water inflow and also checked to see if the unit drains when its turned on, the water drains no problem, but the program stalls on the wash program after the inital drain. I have tipped the unit backwards also to see if this freed up anything , but no happens now, any furhter advice would be

Seems the working was only short lived, I can hear the machine start up, it sounds like the pump is trying to draw water in but can't hear water entering the machine. Checked and water supply is on so think it could be the inlet valve?

Fixed! Turns out the pipe was a bit kinked ! Thanks

HI thanks for your answer, no I dont hear any water coming into the machine so will check the pipework then the inlet valve and let you know how I get on. Its not too wordy for me as I usually fix my own appliances !

Nothing much happens on a dishwasher until the water is let in - do you hear the water entering?

A common fault is the failure of the inlet solenoid valve - easy to check/replace. Sometimes the flexible supply pipe gets kinked and that stops the water.

Good luck...

Sorry if this answer is too "wordy" - it's just a personal style thing - some people object.
