Possible high pressure pressure switch faulty, if it has one it will be on the output side of the wash motor, its function is to pass power to the heater ONLY if there is sufficient water pressure coming off the washpump. Of course it could be that the switch is ok but there is not enough water going into the machine for the washpump to create the required pressure, or you could have debris in the washpump impellor.
