Beko de2542fw wont come out of drying cycle?

Hello,

Dishwasher does want to finish the drying cycle when running on cycle 3 (Economy) 4 ( or 5 (Long).

it cycles through each programme, water enters, washes etc OK, completes and then moves light wise to dry but then just sits there for hours.

Checked filters, water inlets, tilted the unit 45 degrees with some water coming out.

Although after setting on the programmes and it running through, and once it when to drying stage did check inside the unit and the items inside didnt feel as hot as they normally did.

Does it sound like the heating element? How easy are they to fit and where are they located in the unit?
