I got this last week in my car Peugeot 5008 model 2012. The problem is I drove the car in so much dust and sandy storm. In addition to this there was accumulating dust in the engine.
What happened: the light you mentioned turned on then the engine stopped working. The sensors disallow the engine to continue working in such conditions.
How to fix it? must have an electrician to check the sensor found at the top of the engine to be cleaned. Then change engine oil, oil filter and better also to replace the air fillers.
I did that and my car works fine.
