Veritas R8 plus entry point?

How do I change the entry point are make you have time to get into house to turn off before the alarms sounds.
I work shift work and am leaving house at 0430hrs but it must annoy my neighbours when it goes off at this time of Night/Morning!!!

Try punching in 30 for 30 secs then press (PROG) then (RESET) to exit engineering and return to day mode.

Or punch in whatever time suits you sir :)

Thank you will try that in the morning.

Go to the keypad and enter your engineering code then press (PROG).

Now you have to enter a two digit command.

So to get to the full set entry time menu, press buttons 33 or buttons 34 to enter the part set entry time menu, both factory set to 30 sec's,so as I have said before you simply punch in the time required.

Search the net for the manual.

Have no manual to look at sorry. I think I know how to get into programme screen but from there I'm lost.

Ok.

Reprog the entry time as per manual but if it still goes immediately into alarm then check the programming.

There's no default timer settings on the veritas like most,so you have to punch it in yourself EG..numbers 2&0 would be 20sec's,you get the idea.

Let us know how you get on. :)

Yes when we open the front door are come down the stairs we have no time to get to key pad to disarm it. It just goes of right away.
I had to replace the battery in it and this is when this all happen from.

Google for the manual.

Extending the entry time (EE timers) are in there, and it's always better to have the manual at hand rather than us telling you how to enter the programming menu's and what buttons to press.

Easier for yourself really,

You do mean that when you enter the building, the entry timer (beeps) runs, but it doesn't allow you enough time to get to the key pad before it goes into alarm don't you?.

If this is the case then it's not a hard change but a little detailed.

If for any reasons you run into any problems then we will try and help you sort it but as I have said have the manual at hand.
