fixing circular saw?

when attempting to cut with my saw jcb1400
motor runs up to max revs then when presented to job cuts a little then stops cutting with high speed whine
JOCK, June 2013
The high speed whine suggests that the motor is running off-load at maximum revs.

The lack of cutting suggests that the blade is not turning.

This all suggests (to me) that the bolt that fastens the blade to the motor has slackened off.
