How do I take Gardtec 580 keypad off wall?

I need to take the keypad panel away from the wall for decorating purposes. How do I do this?

When he's finished faffing with it he probably wished he papered over the fecking thing.

Hope you know that you are going to cause a tamper alarm when you remove said keypad from the wall?.

Tampers can be set up for engineers reset, so if it is and you don't have the engineering code to clear and reset the panel, then you have a problem.

Don't want to throw a spanner in the works but that's how it is.

Just thought I would mention that :)

Look on the bottom of the keypad for a tiny Phillips fixing screw, countersunk.

If not visible then remove the hinged flip cover that conceals the keys and the fixing screw can now be accessed.

Thank you, but do I use real force to remove the lower portion as it won't budge using just my fingers?

He probably ain't got a fire arms licence gts.

Try an extension of your arm (hammer).

Just kidding : remove the lower profiled portion of the keypad and all will be revealed.
